Camassia leichtlinii caerulea (Indian Lily) bears graceful spikes of violet, star-shaped flowers above upright foliage. Reaching around 75cm, it brings height, texture and late-spring colour to cottage gardens, mixed borders and naturalistic schemes. Plant in autumn in fertile, moisture-retentive but well-drained soil in sun or light shade. Flowers open progressively up the spikes from May to June, extending the display. It combines beautifully with alliums, late tulips and early summer perennials. Pack of 3 bulbs. Care & Planting Sun or part shade; moist but well-drained, humus-rich soil; plant 10cm deep and 12cm apart; excellent for borders and wild gardens.
